The Ballad of Rocco #42

3.42. The Ballad of Rocco

This is a request from Solomon Richards, and it opens after you finish Fresh Meat. Go to Richards Majestic in Backlot City and Rocco Pelosi and his man Gianni are beating Solomon, then the two flee in Rocco's red Fugitive. Take both of them out.

  • Taking out Rocco and Gianni
  • When the cutscene ends, Michael is standing face to face with Rocco's car as it pulls away. Turn the special ability on at once and shoot Rocco in the driver's seat with the sniper rifle. When Rocco goes down, Gianni gets out of the car, so finish him next.
  • If you miss the first shot, you have to find a car and chase them. If Rocco gets away you fail, so do not lose sight of him.
  • If you drop both of them right after the start, you skip straight to the last scene. If you take them out at the end of a chase, a goal appears telling you to leave the area, so get well clear first.
  • Solomon's invitation
  • Solomon calls and asks you to stop by his office. If you do, you see a scene with Michael's name in the credits of the film Solomon is making. The mission is still complete if you turn the invitation down.
  • Legal Trouble opens once you finish The Ballad of Rocco, Reuniting the Family, and Architect's Plans.
  • Gold medal
  • Finish within 3 minutes
  • If you end it with the sniper shot as soon as you start, you have plenty of time left.
  • Reasons for failure
  • Michael dies or is busted, Solomon dies, or Rocco gets away
